The National Monument (Monas) tourism area, Gambir, Central Jakarta will be closed temporarily on Friday (12/2).

“The area will be closed for a day only,” said Sabdo Kurnianto, Monas Management Office Head, Tuesday (11/29).
He admitted has cooperated with several agencies such as Dept. of Transportation, Dept. of Cleanliness, Dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, Army and Police.
City Prepares Mass Rally Security Facilities“There is no special preparation. We also prepare mobile toilet, health personnel, and so on,” he added.
He appealed the citizens who visit Monas on Friday for mass rally to maintain the area cleanliness and its facility.
